The Five Love Languages by Gary Chapman is a great book for couples! And I don't just mean married couples. Even if your just dating, this book will help both of you in understanding each other. Of course, there are also several variations to this work, such as The Five Love Languages Singles Edition or The Five Love Languages of Children. So take your pick and start reading to understand the people in your life!

Book Description
January 1, 2010

Marriage should be based on love, right? But does it seem as though you and your spouse are speaking two different languages? New York Times bestselling author Dr. Gary Chapman guides couples in identifying, understanding, and speaking their spouse’s primary love language—quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service, or physical touch.
By learning the five love languages, you and your spouse will discover your unique love languages and learn practical steps in truly loving each other. Chapters are categorized by love language for easy reference, and each one ends with specific, simple steps to express a specific language to your spouse and guide your marriage in the right direction. A newly designed love languages assessment will help you understand and strengthen your relationship. You can build a lasting, loving marriage together.

Gary Chapman hosts a nationally syndicated daily radio program called A Love Language Minute that can be heard on more than 150 radio stations as well as the weekly syndicated program Building Relationships with Gary Chapman, which can both be heard on fivelovelanguages.com.

It's Already Thursday?

This week has gone by so much faster than I wanted it to. I'm currently on Spring Break, and I only have one day left! Where did the time go?! Oh, well. So for today, I wanted to share some pictures I did of my favorite two-year-old! ☺ I babysit her quite a bit, and she's such a little cutie.

Book Post- The Hunger Games

I don't know who else is absolutely stoked for the movie release of the Hunger Games, but I am so excited! If you haven't read the books already, I highly recommend them. They are so great! Be sure you have plenty of time set aside before you begin reading because you won't want to put it down till you're done!
Book Description
July 3, 2010 The Hunger Games (Book 1)

In the ruins of a place once known as North America lies the nation of Panem, a shining Capitol surrounded by twelve outlying districts. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games," a fight to the death on live TV. Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives alone with her mother and younger sister, regards it as a death sentence when she is forced to represent her district in the Games. The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. -as on Amazon.com

Before going to see the movie, make sure you've read the book. I've included the movie trailer here:
